GRADUATING CLASS OF 2025 GRADUATION INFORMATION

SATURDAY, JUNE 14TH, 2025
- Mass for graduates and their families at Corpus Christi parish @ 1pm
 
MONDAY, JUNE 16th, 2025
- Mandatory Grad Breakfast and Rehearsal 8:30 am - 11:00 am (dismissal when complete)
 - The morning is used to gather as the Class of 2025, supply instructions for the evening of Commencements, and also to hand out Commencements Tickets to those who have purchased them.
 
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25th, 2025
- Graduation Commencement Ceremony
- Edmonton Expo Centre| Hall F (7515 -118 Ave NW)
 - Doors: 6:00 pm | Grads Must Arrive: 6:15 pm | Liturgy and Commencements: 7:00pm
 - Purchased ticket is required for entry and can be purchased on PowerSchool
 - Edmonton Expo Centre will be charging for parking.
 
 
THURSDAY, JUNE 26th, 2025
- Graduation Banquet
- Edmonton Expo Centre | Hall F (7515 - 118 Ave NW)
 - Doors: 6:00 pm | Grads Must Arrive: 6:30 | Program: 7:00 pm
 - Purchased ticket is required for entry and can be purchased on PowerSchool
 
 
Please note:
- Edmonton Expo Centre will be charging for parking.
 - ECSD policy mandates that alcohol is NOT to be served at this event.
 - At the banquet, additional beverages will be served through a $$ cash bar (tea, coffee, & water will be provided for no cost)
 
TICKETS
- Tickets for both commencements and banquet will go on sale beginning Wednesday May 1, 2025 and ending on Wednesday June 2, 2025.
 - Tickets can be purchased online via Power School. (For cash sales, please contact the school Business Manager: Sharon.Saporito@ecsd.net).
 - Students who are participating in Commencements must meet grad eligibility requirements
 - There is a 10 ticket/grad limit for Commencements (June 25) but no limit for the number of tickets that a family may purchase for the Banquet (June 26)
 - All school fees need to be cleared before tickets to the graduation banquet may be purchased
 
TICKETS FOR COMMENCEMENTS
▪ $15.00 per ticket (cost only to families/friends and not to graduate)
▪ Seating for Commencements will be in General Admission fashion with no assigned seats
▪ Students will receive printed copies of purchased tickets when they pick up their grad gowns on the morning of June 16th
▪ Graduates do not need to purchase a ticket for themselves for this event
TICKETS FOR BANQUET
▪ $100.00 per ticket
▪ All attendees, including graduates, require a ticket for this event. Purchased seats are reflected in the table map/seating plan.
▪ Tables are in rounds of 10 seats. Families are able to choose tables online and are encouraged to collaborate with other families to fill a table. Please know that the Edmonton Expo Centre reserves the right to modify seating in an effort to maximize table arrangements.
GRADUATION GARMENTS
- Graduation gowns, v-stoles, caps and tassels have been ordered by the school.
 - Students will pick up these items at a time TBA during exam week
 - Students will return their gown and v-stole immediately following the commencement ceremony at designated stations in the Edmonton Expo Centre on June 25th. This will avoid any fines to the student for late garment returns.
 - Graduates will have their gowns, v-stoles, caps and tassels from pick up through to the end of the day on June 25th and may arrange photographs on their own. While gowns and v-stoles must be returned after Commencements, caps and tassels are kept by the graduates. Failure to return the gowns and v-stoles will result in a charge to the graduate’s school account.

GRAD ELIGIBILITY & GRAD LIST
To be eligible to purchase tickets and participate in commencement ceremonies, students must have completed grad application and continue to prove the potential to graduate this school year including:
- Having passed or are passing ALL required courses for high school diploma or certificate including any other registered courses (ie: Rev Online, PASS, modules, etc.)
 - Having successfully completed or are completing/passing one Religion course for every year of high school in ECSD (if three years, total 9 credits, three courses).
 - Additionally, students must have no outstanding fees or fines including:
 - Having paid all school fees in full and returned all textbooks from S1.
 
The first draft of the Grad Eligibility List is posted. It is the student’s responsibility to check PowerSchool for their ASN and check the grad eligibility list, including the first and final drafts.
The final grad list will be updated at the end of April, giving students 5 -6 weeks to get course work done, grades up to a pass, fees paid, textbooks returned, etc.
Students are encouraged to check their Teams messages for notes from Ms. Brodeur and Mrs. Stachniak regarding academic and ECSD Religion requirement concerns. Any questions or concerns regarding academic or ECSD religion requirements may be directed to Grade 12 Co-Ordinator at Ela.Stachniak@ecsd.net or Grad Coach: Denise.Brodeur@ecsd.net.
Fees and fine payments may be made through PowerSchool. Textbooks can be returned to the MMM Book Store. Any questions regarding fees or fines may be directed to the Business Manager: Sharon.Saporito@ecsd.net.
